Ben woke up happy and giggly the past 3 mornings, unlike before, which is great to see. He did wake up sad today from his nap and only wanted to put his face in the pillow when we came near him. After a while, he decided to forget and perk up to his bubbly self.

What a great trip - all of you seem very happy! I'm enjoying reading about your experiences. Can't wait to meet Ben and see all of you in Chicago.

I love reading of your journey of finding Ben ... or how Ben found you. :) My ultimate goal would be to adopt too - not because I am incapable of having my own biological children, but because there are so many unloved, unwanted children out there that need loving homes. That is my take on the situation. I am looking forward to reading about the ups and downs during this process because this is something that will happen later in my own life, when the time is right. I do look forward to that day. Your story has been an inspiration. I wish you all a very happy first Christmas together. Lora D.
Looking forward to some pictures of Ben at home. Hope you are all adjusting OK with the time change and all.

Glad you are all doing well and I hope you enjoy your last few days in China! Safe travels home!!!
Hi Sally--have been away from your blog for a long time and find that you were just across the border from me (and should be on your way home, now). Love the pictures, hope things go well. (had to laugh about the White Swan Hotel--when that advertisement comes on here in HK, my 11 y/o groans, covers his ears and runs out of the room--so we tease him that it's his favourite hotel--that area is a colonial area, which is why it looked more European--my expat friends go to that area when they go to GZ for a weekend--too pricey for my budget, LOL.)
